Heartsaver/Lay Responder CPR gives individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for breathing, cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. Online courses are now available by clicking the link at the top of the page.
An AED, or automated external defibrillator, is a machine used by responders to deliver an electrical shock to the heart when there is a cardiac emergency. When used with CPR, AEDs greatly increase the chance of survival from heart related emergencies. AED certification is given for all CPR courses and can be easily integrated into any other course if requested. First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens certifications are also available. These are offered at a discounted rate if you take them with any CPR course.
