Topics for this course include first aid treatments to wounds, fractures, burns and other common injuries and illnesses. Knowledge and care for common medical emergencies such as heart attack, stroke, diabetic and allergic reactions is also covered. This class is intended for anyone who has a desire, need, or requirement to be licensed and certified in basic first aid skills.
CPR and Bloodborne Pathogens certifications are also available. These are offered at a discounted rate if you take them with any First Aid course.

Materials
All necessary books and study materials will be provided in class with access available before and after class as well
(American Heart Association or American Red Cross first aid certification cards are issued upon successful course completion and are valid for 2 years)
Intended Audience
Those assigned to respond to first aid emergencies in the workplace or community including: Daycare providers, teachers, coaches, scout leaders, parents, or anyone wanting to learn the life saving skills and knowledge of first aid.
